With temperatures reaching 100 degrees and higher, nothing beats cooling down with an agua fresca. With many different flavors to make, one of my favorites is cucumber. Growing in a Mexican household always meant having some type of agua fresca daily. Every person will have their own way of making it. As for me, I don’t prefer mine to be too sweet. Please note that this was enough for 4 people, if you would like to make less or more adjust it to your liking.

Here is what you will need:
- 2 cucumbers
- 3 cups of water
- 4 tbs sugar
- 1/2 lemon
- 1 lime
- ice
- knife
- blender
- strainer
- pitcher
- spatula/big spoon
Cut your cucumbers in chunks/pieces to fit into blender and leave the skin. Add your ingredients to the blender and blend throughly. When done, you will grab your pitcher and put the strainer over it to separate the pulp. Grab a spatula or big spoon and squeeze down until no more juice comes out.
note: I like to add some of the pulp into the pitcher along with a few pieces of cucumber and chia. I stated that I don’t prefer my drink too sweet but if you like yours sweeter or more citrusy, add more sugar/lemon.
